JUNE 2025

Brief:
Design a final exhibition for graduating graphic communication students.
Client:
Bath Spa University
Deliverables:
Catalogue, Poster, Signage and navigation, banners, social media
About:
A Fresh Set of Eyes was the 2025 Graphic Communication degree show exhibition at Bath Spa University. I played a lead role within a small team responsible for the exhibition’s visual identity, structure, and organisation of all displayed work. Working collaboratively, we developed a cohesive exhibition system exhibiting over 80 unique pieces of work in a range of mediums.
The core concept centred on the idea that the value of our graduating class lay in our new and ‘fresh’ perspectives as emerging designers. This thinking inspired the exhibition title, positioning the cohort as a collective ‘fresh set of eyes’ entering the professional design industry. Eye colour played a large role in the colour palette and allowed us to create groups from the class.
Across the exhibition, the visual language followed themes of geometry and simplicity. Clean shapes and a restrained, minimalist layout ensured the identity supported the work on display without distracting from the wide range of styles and disciplines represented within the class.
Selected spreads shown.
